Ray Chambers, proprietor of the Company, says: “We’re the country’s only retailer, not limited to bathroom sales, to win the Armitage Shanks Showroom of the Year National Award. The Company was started by Ray in 1974 and son Marc joined in 1991 as a Partner following his apprenticeship as a joiner.  Their service provides a full survey of the room to be designed along with a consultation where customers can view computerised images of possible designs, fixtures and fittings.  Says Ray: “We aim really to take the worry out of buying a new bathroom, kitchen or bedroom. We can show people what the finished look will be and also alleviate any fears about inconvenience that might arise while work is being carried out. We also deal purely with manufacturers who have a pedigree because follow-up service is very important to us.”
