Putting clean oil into an internally dirty engine at service time simply does not make sense.

New oil soon becomes contaminated and can lead to serious mechanical problems later in the life of the engine.

The simplest and safest way to ensure inner engine cleanliness is to apply DX Engine Flush (DEP1) to all oil changes and this is the reason for this entry on your invoice.
